From medieval streets lined with old age cobblestones, ancient city walls, forests of pine and cascading waterfalls, to cosmopolitan towns adorned with an array of eateries and historic architecture, all just waiting to be explored; Croatia is evolving into a much sought after location. The best way to visit all that this coastline has to offer, is to set sail on-board one of our stylish cruisers. Each vessel is equipped with a salon/restaurant, and bar, spacious sundeck with hot-tub or jacuzzi, outside lounges, well appointed cabins and living space for 38-40 passengers. Choose from either a deluxe vessel, or if you are looking for that touch of luxury, a superior deluxe; either cruise provides the perfect platform to explore this fantastic destination.
The Concept...
A new port of call every day! Your cruise will offer a relaxed ambience on-board with attentive service and casual flare. Mornings are predominately spent on-board over a leisurely breakfast, lots of sailing, swim stops, and lunch en-route as you journey to your next destination. This time on-board gives you time to relax, enjoy a book, or simply watch the coast slip by as you sail along. After mooring up in a fantastic marina, you are invited to join one of our fascinating walking tours, whereby after finding your feet, you can say goodbye to the local guide and continue your explorations on your own. Some passengers stay in small groups in search of a eaterie to enjoy dinner, whilst others prefer some alone time; each evening the choice is yours. Finally take a stroll through the pretty streets and harbours as you meander back to your vessel, to enjoy a drink with a view to the twinkling lights of the marina and gentle sound of lapping water.
The Itineraries...
From beautiful remote shores, sparkling waters and World Heritage Sights, Croatia offers an abundance of culture, scenery, culinary experiences and historic architecture. First time visitors often explore the southern islands taking in Hvar and Dubrovnik, whilst the northern routes let those returning to Croatia the opportunity to explore more of the rugged and less visited towns and villages and national parks, such as Krka. All of our itineraries are carefully thought out to make sure you experience Croatia at its best. Each itinerary includes walking tours accompanied by an experienced tour guide, plenty of sailing and of course free time in the evenings to mingle with the locals.
Is it for me?...
Whilst this type of cruising doesn't compromise on quality or service on-board; there are no fussy formalities, no fancy dress code and certainly no keeping up with the Joneses attitude. The name of the game is to relax, enjoy the company of like minded passengers with a touch of good humoured socialising over a nightcap or two (or three or four!!). Our customers mainly range from the very young age of 50 upwards, who can appreciate a teeny bit of culture or architecture, and some leisurely exploring thrown in. This type of cruise also works perfectly for the solo traveller, as the large dining tables, open lounges and tours, offers more of a group feel.
